The first step is to apply a basecoat. This provides an even base for polish and also stops the nail from absorbing any colour from the polish and becoming discoloured. The next step is the white tip. Using the white polish sweep across the tip from one side to the other. It can take a bit of practice to perfect this stroke and to make sure that all tips are even in width. Only cover the natural tip of the nail as anything wider or narrower than that will result in a very un-natural looking paint. Step three is to apply the French pink all over the nails including the tips. This gives the nails a healthy pink glow and makes the white tips look more natural. Always end your paint with a good top coat. This will add shine and seal in your polish which will make it last longer.

What is your nail tip?
youtube wouldn’t let me upload yesterday.. so it is up today.
So I figured out this little tip during one of my travels. I was so fed up of trying to file my nail and conserve what was left when they chipped. I hate jagged nails and so I would often have to file my nail on the cement out of desperation. Well.. then I discovered an easy way to ALWAYS have my nail file with me. So now I can have long nails and nicely shaped nails at all times. One of my pet peeves is when I have uneven rounded or oddly shaped nails. I can’t type or do anything when they are out of shape. So now you can have nice long grown out nails .. no more ripping them

It’s pink in real life but looks very red on film :/ Just imagine hot pink lol.

I tried the design on my own nails as you can see, and much prefer it without the glittery stripe…..oh well, too late now

It’s actually a franken polish (one I made myself), and the black is acrylic paint. The striper is from Fraulien 38 and doesn’t have a name.
