For those of you that may wonder about the sides of some of my nails, I use to be a nail biter. I have kicked the nail biting habit (because I want nice nails lol) but have not been able to stop biting the sides of my nails when I am stressed, nervous or anxious. : \ I have been trying to stop but its something I’ve done since middle school.

Its been so sunny here in California that I dont even feel winter has started, the funny thing is that its about to end. The rose bushes in my yard are starting to bloom because its been so warm & sunny this winter. I guess I’m telling you this because its the reason for this nail design, I feel spring coming on, & it inspired me to create this floral art.

I’ve been wearing red nail polish for two week’s, my nails are thick & full of coat’s. I decided finally what design I wanted to add to my red nails, & here it is. I was seriously blank of design ideas for two week’s. Now its time to start thinking of a new design, because its for sure time to remove this red one.
I dont recomend ever leaving a nail polish on your nails longer than eight days, especially a red color because this will stain nails.

♥ I use acrylic paints because its waaaaay easier to draw with than nail polish. Not to mention if you do nails as much as I do it’s a lot cheaper.
♥ I always use nail polish as the base color and then do the art with paints.
♥ My favorite brand of paint is Americana and you can see them at the end of my videos.
♥ Why haven’t you done my request? I have loads of requests and I bought a book just to keep them all in. If I went in order the requests are behind by a few months lol. I don’t go in order anymore but I always look at the book when making new designs.
♥ I record with my JVC Everio camcorder and use Sony Vegas Pro to edit.
♥ How do you place your camera to record? I use a tripod and place it in front of me on a table. There is a picture of it on my facebook.

A request from one of my lovely subscribers, curlieQhippie – this is my way of doing giraffe print. Well, one of them anyway.
Giraffe, like most animal print is really easy to do and doesn’t require perfect lines or a super-steady hand.
I’m using just nail polish and a toothpick for this design. I added leaves and gems to it just for added depth and a bit of sparkle. But the giraffe print looks just as cool without!
