When you go to the nail salon and get your nails done do you like acrylic, gel tip, or natural? Me personally I like to get gel american style. I’m a big fan of the american tip! I think it’s professional and classy. But what would you choose?

I personally thing the acrylic with the french tip is my favorite and i would choose it. I think its such a classy look. I love it. :]

i just got acrylic nails and i wasn’t very happy how they turned out and i would like to paint over them cause they just aren’t my style. i don’t want to spend more money to get them removed and then replaced, waist of money. so over all i want to get a good nail polish that doesn’t look crappy or cheesy.

There are many good nail polish brands out there. You can get the ones listed below at a drugstore, or online at their websites.

OPI: Funny names, often a play on words. Wide spectrum of colors!
Essie: Mostly pastels. Not really my thing, the polishes are pretty tame colors.
Sally Hansen: This is the most encompassing color selection. There are lots of neutrals, but also lots of bright, funky colors. They have pretty much every shade you can think of.
Sinful colors: Very affordable at $2 a bottle. Many bright colors, okay wear.
Wet n Wild: Awesome colors, and only $1 a bottle! Quick drying, but also has more traditional colors like pink and red.
Revlon: Also, wide selection. Has scented polishes.

There are many, many polishes out there! Choose a color that is you, and you’ll never go wrong. Good luck sweetheart!

And the pure acetone can be bought at any beauty supply store, target has its own as well

Base: Orly Bonder Rubberized Base Coat
White: OPI Alpine Snow

Top Coat: Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
Brush: Filbert Shaped Craft Store (Michael’s) Brush

FAQ:
-As far as how long it lasts that would really depend on your lifestyle and the quality of polish you use.
-And it takes me about 20 minutes? without distractions or explaining. But thats also bc Im so used to doing it. It’ll take longer your first few times
-You’ll notice the brush will become stiff after the first time you use it, just soften it up in the acetone by lightly pushing it down and brushing it back and forth and the bristles will become usable again
