cutting you nails can be a really fun experience because its a fresh start on something you’ll love! Which is growing your nails. This will teach you to take care of different types of nails as well. You’ll learn portion control (nail polish & other nail related products) and you’ll enjoy adjusting designs you love to your new length. I do this every couple of months, whether i have a choice or not. Simply because its good to cut your nails, and kinda give your nails and yourself a break from the weight of long nails.

heyy! Ive been working lately on (and this sounds stupid haha) internal beauty fixes. I started taking a hair, nails and skin vitamin as well as my regular daily vitamins and trying to drink more water. What else can i do? Im trying to grow my hair longer and fix my chronic skin problems (had a little acne on and off for years) any ideas on growing out my hair and fixing my skin would be awesooomee! Love!

I think fixing acne from the inside out would be more about what you take away from your diet than what you eat.

I would have recommended eating a variety of veggies and fruit (aiming for 6 different ones in a day, ie, NOT eating apple/carrots 10 times a day) and drinking at least a gallon of water. Since you are taking vitamins and drinking the h2o you are already duplicating this.

So things to minus are: caffeine, preservatives, alcohol, nicotine, dairy products, and sugar. Some people even find that flour causes them to break out : O If you need help thinking up recipes to embrace a clean diet such as this look up the Palleo or Caveman diet : )

It is great that you are taking such an interest in yourself. Constantly evaluating and striving toward betterment is hard embrace. You go gal! I wish you the best of luck.

I hate acrylic nails. Afterwards your real nails feel terrible for for 6 months.

Shellac is a brand name of colour gel nail "lacquer" made by CND. It goes on similar to a nail polish with a base, 2 coats of colour and a top coat. Each layer is cured under a UV light.
There are other brands of the same type of thing – including Axxium Soak-Off gels. Either product can be applied to a natural nail with a maximum length of about 1/8". Longer natural nails would not have the strength to support the product, so you would have cracking.

Artificial Gel nails ARE an acrylic product, though acrylic (liquid and powder mixed together) seeps into the layers of the natural nail and adheres through the layers. Gel sits on top of the nail and bonds to the uppermost layer. Acrylic must be soaked and filed off and Gel must be filed off – (the OPI Soak-Off gels can NOT be used to create an extension).

Shellac and Soak-Off Gel can be applied to the natural nail, as can a regular gel product for an overlay – to create strength but not length. OPI has a new gel lacquer coming out this summer called GelColor which will come in a nail polish bottle and be applied similar to Shellac – though not available for sale to the general public as it will still require a UV curing lamp.

A gel overlay adds strength but not length – also shine
A gel (or acrylic) extension adds strength AND length
Both can have the gel lacquers applied over them.

Shellac, Axxium Soak-off Gel, and other similar products are only to add a chip-resistant, high shine, longer lasting polish to a manicure or nail extension and can not be used to create length.

I was wondering if Love Nails is open on Sundays because i would love to get my nails done but im not sure if they are open today, on Sunday.. Anything will help thanks!!
P.S.- the nail spas would be in Florida, St. Petersburg if that helps!!!

The way I tend to handle things such as this is to open the yellow pages, find their telephone number, call them and ask their hours. To answer your question, I don’t know about that particular salon, but many salons are open on Sunday but they usually have shorter hours since it is a Sunday.
