Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Do women enjoy painting their nails, trying on beauty products or do so b/c society expects women to do this?

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

As a crossdresser, i enjoy painting my toe nails, and then removing the nailpolish and trying on another color, or trying on different makeup products.

I am wondering if women also enjoy such things, or do they get nails done, and preety them selves b/c of expections that society has from women.

Depends on the woman. Some do it because it’s simply FUN to check out all the pretty colors and see which ones match best with their skin tone and clothing. Others do it out of boredom lol. Then of course, there are those women who try and fit into societies standards on what is pegged as acceptable and attractive in a woman. Other women don’t give a hoot and won’t conform to society no matter what.

Is it seriously possible to get high off of sniffing certain types of nail polish????

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

I’m just wondering. No, I don’t plan on getting high lol. Everyone I know keeps on saying that you can………..
Any other household type items you can get high off of???? How and why does this happen???

yup, that and ammonia, gas, pretty much every aerosol spray.

Dose anyone love the way their nails look just after they get them done when you are typing?

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Answer and explain! Most creative wins!
I am a loser, i just love the way it looks when i am typing and i see my pretty nails!

Ok…so,Isabel, hon…the way your question reads it sounds like you get your nails done while you are typing. This must require a significant amount of concentration and dexterity on the part of your nail technician….maybe just a wee bit less focus on your nails and a little bit more concentration in your English class…..was this creative enough for you…lol…..

Is there an easy way to remove acrylic/gel nails, other than soaking them in nail polish remover forever?

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

I’ve cut the tips off with clippers, but now stuck to the nail bed is the other part. I keep trying to lift it, but I feel like I’m lifting my whole nail. They’re not going anywhere!! They are stuck– bigtime.
It looks terrible and I need them gone. Pronto.

Please help!! Thanks icon smile Is there an easy way to remove acrylic/gel nails, other than soaking them in nail polish remover forever?

You can go to the salon and get them professionally removed not totally sure how much that would cost though. I always just soak them in remover or warm water and it lifts the glue and they come off, does take awhile though.
